This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Instruct asynchronous undergraduate and graduate courses for adult learners.
• Spearhead the development and enhancement of programs, courses, course materials, and innovative teaching methodologies.
• Provide exceptional online instruction, assessment, personalized support, and timely feedback.
• Chair dissertations and doctoral committees; evaluate research projects and prepare students for oral defenses as necessary.
• Mentor, oversee, and assist associate faculty and faculty/staff.
• Drive continuous improvement of curriculum, instructional design, program-level assessment, and annual review processes.
• Collaborate with instructional designers, assessment specialists, student support services, and other university teams.
• Promote student connection, belonging, success initiatives, accreditation, and shared governance.
• Participate in department, college, and university meetings and engage in committees, hiring, and service activities.
• Possess an earned terminal degree (CPA) in a discipline relevant to the academic program.
• For certain programs, professional experience may suffice in place of the terminal degree.
• Have three years of experience in online teaching and learning, including curriculum development and assessment strategies.
• Hold three to five years of relevant practical professional work experience.
• Capable of creating engaging and supportive online learning environments.
• Proficient in effective and compassionate communication with adult learners.
• Able to align academic content with workforce requirements and industry trends.
• Skilled in educational technology and learning management systems.
• Capable of interpreting student success data to enhance teaching and curricular design.
• Qualified to teach graduate courses in Psychopharmacology, Physiological Psychology, and Research Design & Methods.
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills.
• Applied professional experience in the field is preferred.
• Experience with qualitative or quantitative research is preferred.
• Background working with adult, non-traditional, and post-traditional learners is preferred.
• Three years of undergraduate teaching experience in Health Psychology is preferred.
• Three years of graduate-level teaching experience in psychology is preferred.
