Program Business Solutions and Analysis Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Focus primarily on Reporting and Analytics.

• Actively collaborate with HQ Program Operations and Country Office staff (in both English and Spanish) to comprehend business inquiries, reporting needs, and decision-making requirements.

• Design, develop, and sustain a collection of Power BI and Microsoft Fabric dashboards that offer timely, actionable insights customized to the needs of end-users.

• Ensure the accuracy of report data, validate that dashboards adhere to the correct business rules and structures, and maintain comprehensive documentation for report logic, definitions, filters, and assumptions.

• Create and deliver training, guidance documents, and job aids (in English and Spanish) to assist users in navigating and interpreting reports.

• Provide continuous user support in both English and Spanish, including responding to inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and guiding non-technical personnel in data-informed decision-making.

• Focus secondarily on Process & System Support.

• Aid in the triage of system issues by reproducing and documenting errors, collaborating with relevant teams, and testing solutions.

• Engage in user acceptance testing (UAT) for system upgrades, offering feedback and assisting with release communications.

• Support periodic access audits and work with IT on user provisioning for reporting tools.

• Contribute to process mapping, workflow documentation, and assist in light process improvement initiatives in partnership with the Director.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business analytics, information systems, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience.

• At least 5 years of pertinent experience in business intelligence or reporting positions.

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is mandatory, with a proven capability to assist Spanish-speaking users.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Power BI and Microsoft Fabric, including expertise in data modeling and visualization best practices.

• Proficient in Excel and Power Query, including advanced formulas and data transformation methods.

• Familiarity with one or more of the following systems: Workday Adaptive Planning, Workday, or SmartSimple is preferred.

• Understanding of data governance and cross-system integration is desirable.

• Strong organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines with minimal oversight.

• Experience working with international or distributed teams is highly preferred.
