This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.
• Facilitate data-driven decision-making for a commercial, industrial, and agricultural energy efficiency initiative.
• Collect data and generate insights that direct outreach efforts, measure development, forecasting, and program design.
• Evaluate program data and investigate market conditions.
• Produce reports that guide both tactical and strategic decisions for program teams and clients.
• Design, review, and sustain dashboards and program datasets that monitor project activity, savings, and incentive expenditures.
• Generate monthly reports on program characteristics, market insight, and program penetration.
• Analyze data to uncover leading indicators, performance trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Position program operations and performance data in the context of economic, policy, and sector trends.
• Aid in the monthly and annual forecasting of kWh savings and incentive/budget expenditures.
• Track and summarize market intelligence, including tariffs, policy, legislation, equipment effectiveness, and environmental standards.
• Conduct ad hoc analyses and create presentations.
• Ensure data quality and consistency across tracking systems and reporting tools.
• Bachelor's degree in business, economics, data analytics, engineering, or a related discipline, or a graduate degree, accompanied by 5+ years of experience in energy efficiency program analysis, market research, or a similar analytical role.
• In the absence of a degree, 8+ years of experience in the aforementioned roles or related fields is required.
• Proficient analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Capability to convert program and market data into actionable insights.
• Exceptional technical and non-technical writing and communication skills.
• Proficient in conveying findings to a range of technical and non-technical audiences.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience with SQL and Power BI or Tableau for data analysis and visualization.
• Familiarity with statistical frameworks or tools such as R is preferred.
• Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision on complex analytical projects.
• Capability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Preference for candidates located in Oregon.
• Must have authorization to work in the country of the position without employer sponsorship or support.
• Successful candidates must pass pre-employment checks.
