Program Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Become a part of the Program and Operations team as a Program Analyst, contributing to the IESO’s Save on Energy Remote First Nations Energy Efficiency Program.

• Prepare invoices and monitor program finances.

• Assess COGS, expenses, forecasts, and financial documentation.

• Ensure data accuracy and identify any inconsistencies.

• Utilize Excel and various reporting tools to analyze and present data effectively.

• Employ AI tools like Copilot and Claude to enhance analysis and reporting.

• Engage with both internal and external stakeholders.

• Juggle multiple priorities while working both independently and as part of a team.

• Assist with occasional travel and program activities within Indigenous communities.

• Oversee financial aspects of an energy-efficiency program aimed at supporting remote First Nations communities in Northern Ontario.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in finance, accounting, financial operations, or a related field.

• Strong financial expertise with a background in invoicing, reporting, or expense tracking.

• Exceptional attention to detail and precision.

• Advanced skills in Excel and a solid confidence in handling data.

• Familiarity with AI tools such as Copilot or Claude.

• Experience with Power Query and/or Power BI is considered an asset.

• Background in energy efficiency, utility programs, or work within Indigenous communities is advantageous.

• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

• Capability to work within Central to Atlantic time zones.

• Must have the authorization to work in Canada without employer sponsorship or support.
