This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• The Program Administrator is essential in facilitating the daily management of TECHNATION’s Career Ready Program, particularly its wage subsidy initiative.
• Your contributions will be vital to the program’s effectiveness and will significantly enhance the growth of Canada’s technology sector.
• This role entails overseeing the administrative coordination of subsidy application processes, providing support to stakeholders, and assisting the internal team with administrative tasks.
• Aid in the processing of applications, assessing eligibility, and ensuring adherence to program guidelines.
• Maintain program databases and records, guaranteeing accuracy and timely modifications.
• Address inquiries from employers, students, and post-secondary institutions while delivering exceptional customer service.
• Assist in the development of reports, presentations, and program documentation.
• Help organize meetings, monitor deliverables, and manage logistics for program activities.
• Engage in outreach initiatives, webinars, and events to connect with stakeholders.
• Support efforts to engage employers and students, ensuring a positive experience within the program.
• Assist in gathering testimonials, feedback, and success stories for program assessment and marketing purposes.
• A completed post-secondary education; a diploma or degree in business administration, project management, communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years of experience in program administration, coordination, or a comparable support role.
• Strong organizational abilities with a knack for efficiently managing multiple tasks, deadlines, and priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and experience with database management.
• A keen attention to detail and capability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the capacity to support team members and engage professionally with stakeholders.
• Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a synergistic team environment.
• Bilingual proficiency (English/French) is a considerable advantage.
• Experience in a non-profit, association, or workforce development context.
• Familiarity with funding programs, grants, or governmental reporting protocols.
• Knowledge of application processing platforms or database management; or experience in optimizing administrative workflows.
• Understanding of work-integrated learning (WIL) programs or initiatives aimed at student/employer engagement.
