Professor I – Information Technology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Conduct live online classes with a focus on clear pedagogy, organization, and enhancing the student experience;

• Effectively utilize the institution's teaching materials and promote the use of course bibliographic references, fostering critical and reflective learning;

• Plan and execute academic activities that align with the syllabus and pedagogical objectives of the course;

• Provide pedagogical support and encourage student participation and engagement throughout the classes;

• Adhere to deadlines set forth in the academic calendar and address requests from course coordination promptly;

• Document attendance, subjects covered, assessments, and other academic information in the institutional system (SIA) within the specified deadlines;

• Engage in pedagogical meetings, training sessions, and institutional activities as needed;

• Maintain academic quality, uphold professional ethics, and foster positive relationships with students, course coordination, and institutional staff;

• Efficiently utilize the institution's digital tools, particularly Microsoft Teams and academic systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Required qualification: Postgraduate specialization;

• Mandatory: Bachelor's degree and/or postgraduate specialization in undergraduate programs related to Information Technology;

• Knowledge and/or experience in Databases, Cybersecurity, and relevant subjects;

• Excellent communication skills, ability to establish rapport with students, and demonstrate adaptability and flexibility;

• Current theoretical and practical expertise in the subject matter;

• Proficiency with Microsoft Teams and comfort with educational digital tools;

• Availability to work evenings, according to the contracted schedule;

• A suitable remote work environment (stable internet connection, computer, and a conducive space for online teaching);

• An updated Lattes CV is required.
