This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Conduct live virtual classes with a strong emphasis on pedagogy, organization, and enhancing the student experience.

• Appropriately utilize the institution’s course materials and promote the use of bibliographic references within the discipline, fostering critical and reflective learning.

• Plan and execute academic activities that are in line with the course syllabus and the pedagogical goals of the discipline.

• Facilitate pedagogical mediation and encourage student involvement and engagement during classes.

• Adhere to deadlines set forth in the academic calendar and address requests from course coordination promptly.

• Record attendance, delivered course content, assessments, and other academic data in the institutional system (SIA) within specified deadlines.

• Participate in pedagogical meetings, training sessions, and institutional activities as required.

• Maintain academic quality, uphold professional ethics, and foster positive relationships with students, coordination, and institutional staff.

• Utilize the institution's digital tools effectively, with a focus on Microsoft Teams and academic systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Qualification: Specialization (postgraduate specialization).

• Mandatory: Bachelor’s degree and specialization in the health field (for undergraduate health programs).

• Knowledge or experience in foundational concepts of cell biology, genetics, and related subjects.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, as well as adaptability and flexibility.

• Current and proficient theoretical and practical knowledge in the respective subject area.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Teams and comfort with various digital educational tools.

• Adequate remote work environment (stable internet connection, computer, and a suitable setting for online teaching).

• An updated Lattes CV (Curriculum Lattes) is essential; its absence will result in disqualification.

• Prior experience in hybrid teaching or distance education (EAD) is advantageous.

• A stricto sensu postgraduate degree (master’s or doctoral degree) is an advantage.

• Familiarity with active methodologies and collaborative learning approaches is a plus.
