Professional Learning Developer, Multilingual Learners/ESOL

📋 Description

• Ensure that educators and leaders are provided with high-quality professional learning experiences that are engaging, practical, and rooted in research-based practices for supporting Multilingual Learners.

• Assist educators in deepening their comprehension of effective language development, sheltered instruction, and equitable access to grade-level content.

• Facilitate impactful learning that directly affects instructional practices and ultimately enhances student outcomes.

• Energize high-quality workshop content with your unique presence, energy, and facilitation style.

• Share genuine insights from academic research or university-level experience to help educators grasp how AI is transforming research practices.

• Foster environments where educators feel recognized, valued, and engaged.

• Lead participants through significant “aha” moments that link AI’s real-world research applications to classroom practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in higher education, academic research, laboratory work, K–12 education, or a combination of these settings.

• Experience with or understanding how AI is utilized in research, such as data analysis, modeling, workflow automation, or literature synthesis, OR a willingness to draw from real academic research experience while incorporating provided AI examples.

• Proven success in facilitating interactive workshops for adult learners, both in-person and online.

• High energy, enthusiasm for the art of teaching and learning, and a commitment to educator development.

• Strong presence when addressing groups, with the ability to gauge audience engagement, adjust pacing, and maintain interest.

• Technological proficiency and comfort with navigating Zoom, Google tools, virtual collaboration platforms, and digital resources.

• A growth-oriented mindset and receptiveness to feedback.

• A proactive attitude, dependability, punctuality, and professionalism.
