Professional Land Surveyor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Supervise and lead survey technicians

• Execute reviews of boundary, easement, deed, and title documents

• Carry out comprehensive research at municipal, county, and state levels

• Assess surveys, field notes, maps, aerial imagery, and other resources to pinpoint project constraints

• Identify the optimal strategy for completing projects within timelines and budgets

• Compute quantities and volumes as necessary

• Engage in daily communication with crew chiefs and the operations team

• Work in conjunction with drafting managers, design personnel, and the operations team

• Provide updates on project status, discuss obstacles, and manage plan modifications

⛳️ Requirements

• A valid Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license is mandatory; holding licenses in multiple states is advantageous

• Essential field and office experience in land surveying

• Demonstrated success in acquiring new clients and generating revenue

• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities

• Proven experience in managing survey crews

• Self-driven, motivated, and capable of working independently

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Carlson Survey is required

• Familiarity with Quickbase for logging job statuses is a plus

• This position entails being on call for one weekend every three to four months
