Professional Land Surveyor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Supervising and directing survey technicians

• Executing reviews of boundaries, easements, deeds, and titles

• Performing in-depth research at municipal, county, and state levels

• Assessing surveys, field notes, maps, aerial imagery, and other resources to pinpoint possible project challenges

• Identifying optimal strategies to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget

• Calculating quantities and volumes

• Engaging in daily communication with crew chiefs and our operations team

• Working in conjunction with drafting managers, design personnel, and the operations team for updates on status and addressing plan modifications

⛳️ Requirements

• A current Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license is required, with multiple state licenses being advantageous.

• Field and office experience in land surveying is crucial, along with a keen attention to detail.

• A demonstrated history of acquiring new clients and generating revenue.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for effective collaboration, as well as the ability to take direction and advance within the company.

• A proven capability in managing survey crews.

• Self-motivation, determination, and the ability to work remotely are vital for success in this position.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Carlson Survey is required, and familiarity with Quickbase for logging job statuses is a plus.
