Professional Engineer – Structural Forensics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Conduct thorough forensic investigations into structural failures, collapses, and construction defects.

• Execute site inspections and collect relevant data to facilitate forensic analysis.

• Apply engineering principles and practices to evaluate and address structural issues.

• Develop clear and concise technical reports that detail findings and conclusions.

• Offer expert testimony in legal cases as needed.

• Remain updated with industry trends, codes, and standards pertinent to structural engineering.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.

• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Midwest states.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

• Capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

• Experience providing expert testimony in legal proceedings is advantageous.
