This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Supervise the asset and rigging production pipeline for your designated team.
• Foster effective people management and communication within your team.
• Direct, plan, and oversee departmental schedules to ensure alignment with production deadlines.
• Efficiently allocate resources to adhere to project scope, delivery schedules, and budget constraints.
• Assess asset and rig quality, ensuring compliance with artistic direction and technical specifications.
• Collaborate intimately with directors, artists, and technical teams to uphold our creative vision while enhancing workflow efficiency.
• Coordinate team requirements and resources with external departments, including Marketing and Merchandise.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Animation, Fine Arts, or a related discipline.
• Over 5 years of experience in asset and/or rigging production management within the animation or gaming sectors.
• Proficient understanding of 3D modeling, texturing, and environment creation processes, OR 3D rigging processes, OR comprehensive knowledge of the 2D asset design pipeline, including concepting, color, and turnarounds.
• Familiarity with industry-standard software (e.g., Maya, ZBrush, Substance Painter, Photoshop, Harmony, Unreal Engine) as well as production management tools (e.g., ShotGrid, Asana, SyncSketch, Google Suite).
• Proven experience in leading teams through transitions, assisting team members in overcoming challenges, clearing bottlenecks, and achieving successful task completion.
• Capability to make informed decisions while managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail, ensuring that deliveries meet both artistic and technical benchmarks.
