Product UI/UX Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Work collaboratively to enhance the user experience for the PerformYard SaaS offerings.

• Partner directly with product managers to convert the product roadmap and requirements into intuitive and elegant user experiences and designs.

• Collaborate with engineers in agile scrum teams to advance design concepts through to implementation, which includes creating wireframes and UI prototypes as needed, along with detailed design specifications using Figma, encompassing CSS guidelines.

• Improve and assist in the upkeep of the PerformYard UI design system.

⛳️ Requirements

• A portfolio showcasing previous product design work that highlights your expertise in user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design.

• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in UI design and UX for a commercial browser-based SaaS product.

• At least 1 year of experience using Figma for design purposes.

• Background in designing and developing component-driven user interfaces while applying atomic design principles.

• Familiarity with agile/scrum development methodologies and collaboration with other UI/UX designers.

• Bonus Points:

• Bachelor’s degree in human factors, UX, or UI design.

• Experience in maintaining and evolving a design system and UI component library.

• UI/UX design experience related to HRIS, Employee Management, or other business-focused (B2B) applications.

• Previous hands-on experience in web application development (CSS, HTML, JavaScript, React).

• Knowledge of designing for Accessibility (WCAG 2.x AA/AAA).
