Product Specialist, Cattle

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Engaging directly with farms to assist in the implementation of Halter with our initial customers — this role involves hands-on activities rather than desk duties.

• Establishing strong relationships with our innovative producers, gaining a deep understanding of their operations, and learning how the product can provide real value in this environment.

• Communicating insights clearly and rigorously to our product and engineering teams in New Zealand, ensuring we continuously develop what is most important.

• Aiding in the comprehension of the specifics of South American cattle production, including the animals, land, and practices, and disseminating this information throughout the organization.

• Analyzing the product from end to end and identifying necessary fixes, improvements, or new developments.

• Collaborating with our initial customers to ensure they maximize their use of Halter and achieve tangible results.

• Partnering with the commercial team to ensure strong alignment as we expand.

• Performing any additional tasks necessary to ensure Halter's success in South America.

• Experience in South American cattle production is essential.

• A strong passion for animals and the future of agriculture in the region.

• Technologically adept and genuinely interested in understanding the inner workings of our product.

• Excellent communication skills to convey field observations into clear, actionable feedback for a remote product and engineering team.

• Demonstrated ability to think critically about challenges and reach innovative solutions.

• Comfortable with uncertainty. As this is an early-stage market entry, conditions may be imperfect; you will thrive in this environment rather than be discouraged by it.

• Quick learner with a strong drive to collaborate with a team undertaking unprecedented tasks.

• A proactive attitude with the resilience to overcome obstacles.

• Willingness to travel and work flexibly, including weekends when necessary.

• Fluency in Spanish is required; proficiency in English is a significant advantage for collaboration with headquarters.
