Product Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Maintain extensive knowledge of assigned financial reporting and data management solutions.

• Advocate for assigned product(s) through targeted solution presentations to foster land and expand opportunities.

• Actively participate in the sales process when opportunities are identified by BDR, Account Executive, or Account Manager teams.

• Offer technical and functional support during the design and proposal development of solutions.

• Conduct engaging product demonstrations that highlight value for finance and accounting teams.

• Oversee the evaluation of legacy financial reporting systems and implement migration strategies.

• Assist customers in transitioning from legacy ERP, EPM, or financial consolidation platforms.

• Create migration roadmaps that reduce business disruption while enhancing product adoption.

• Share expertise in financial close, consolidation, reporting, planning, and forecasting workflows.

• Collaborate closely with BDRs during the qualification of new opportunities.

• Partner with Account Executives and Account Managers to present value propositions and confirm product suitability.

• Work in conjunction with Account Managers and Customer Success Managers to identify additional use cases and promote expansion within existing accounts.

• Support Solutions Engineers by providing comprehensive technical expertise.

• Equip Hybrid Sellers with product knowledge and competitive positioning.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in financial systems, reporting solutions, or similar roles.

• In-depth knowledge of financial reporting solutions, including financial close, consolidation, management reporting, and regulatory reporting.

• Strong grasp of financial systems architecture and data flows.

• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.) and their reporting limitations.

• Familiarity with EPM/CPM platforms and financial data integration.

• Understanding of financial data governance, controls, and audit requirements.

• Knowledge of finance and accounting business processes, including month-end close, consolidation, and variance analysis.

• Ability to communicate effectively with CFOs, Controllers, and Finance Directors.

• Proven experience articulating ROI and business value for financial transformation initiatives.

• Knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements (SOX, IFRS, GAAP).
