Product Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of, manage, and continuously enhance the product backlog to ensure it remains clear, prioritized, and actionable.

• Convert product strategy and insights from discovery into clearly defined user stories and acceptance criteria.

• Lead the refinement of the backlog and the planning of sprints, ensuring that priorities and scope are well understood.

• Serve as the main point of contact for the development team concerning requirements clarification.

• Validate completed work against acceptance criteria and the Definition of Done (DoD).

• Collaborate with stakeholders to collect requirements and feedback.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or in a similar capacity within an agile environment.

• Strong grasp of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and product development practices.

• Capability to translate product strategy into clear, actionable user stories and deliverables.

• Experience in managing and prioritizing a product backlog effectively.

• Proven track record of working closely with customers or within the industry.

• Ability to leverage domain expertise to shape requirements and enhance solutions.

• Understanding of pertinent regulatory, commercial, or operational considerations (when applicable).

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.

• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, or similar platforms.

• Comfortable collaborating with technical teams and comprehending dependencies and constraints.
