Product Owner Payroll Modernisierung

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Responsible for the technical advancement of a payroll application as part of modernization efforts.

• Close collaboration with departments (especially HR/Payroll), development teams, and other stakeholders.

• Coordination with our clients and participation in workshops, interviews, etc., to achieve an optimal understanding and integration of client needs.

• Translating technical requirements into structured user stories and overseeing their implementation.

• Ensuring transparency regarding project progress, goal attainment, and risks.

• Adherence to legal and technical requirements, including quality assurance.

• Collaborating with UX/UI to design an intuitive and efficient user interface.

• Utilizing agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Design Thinking) with a focus on user-centered design and UX.

⛳️ Requirements

• Several years of experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role.

• Solid knowledge in the field of payroll processing as well as the relevant legal frameworks.

• Ability to clearly structure complex requirements and prioritize them effectively.

• Strong communication skills and experience in coordinating with diverse stakeholders.

• An open personality with a passion for working in teams and engaging with clients.

• Proficient in agile methods such as Scrum or Kanban and open to new technologies, tools, and work practices.

• Experience in modernization projects, particularly in replacing older systems with web applications.

• Willingness to work with AI-based tools.

• Fluent German skills (C2).
