Product Owner, EdTech

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Oversee, organize, and prioritize the product backlog for the items you are accountable for.

• Convert business needs into precise requirements for the development teams.

• Enhance user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.

• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Design, and Technology to guarantee the ongoing delivery of value.

• Engage in agile ceremonies and assist the team in overcoming product-related obstacles.

• Track the execution of tasks, ensuring alignment with scope, timelines, and quality standards.

• Aid in defining operational metrics and monitor product KPIs.

• Validate deliverables and ensure that implemented solutions achieve the defined objectives.

• Maintain regular communication with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency regarding initiative progress.

• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of the company’s processes and products.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.

• Previous experience in educational organizations, specifically with educational back-office systems.

• Prior roles as a Product Owner, Product Analyst, Business Analyst, or in similar positions.

• Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, or similar).

• Proven experience in managing and prioritizing product backlogs.

• Capability to translate business requests into clear and structured requirements.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with both technical and business teams.

• An organized, analytical, and execution-focused profile.

• Background in data analysis and tracking product metrics.

• Experience with academic ERPs, educational platforms, or administrative systems within educational institutions (preferred).

• Understanding of academic, financial, or operational processes in the education sector (preferred).

• Certifications or training in Product Management, Agile, Scrum, Lean, or Kanban (preferred).

• Familiarity with UX, Product Design, and software development (preferred).

• Experience using product and project management tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, Trello, or similar) (preferred).
