Product Owner – Cross Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Chile.

📋 Description

• Definition of the Platform Roadmap: Translate the technology governance vision into a clear roadmap for the evolution of cross-functional services, aligning technical initiatives with the strategic business objectives alongside the Tribe Lead and Tech Leads.

• Prioritization with Impact Assessment: Evaluate and prioritize requests from all engineering and product verticals, strategically balancing the reduction of technical debt, the enabling of new capabilities, and the stability of the global ecosystem.

• Co-leadership of the Agile Squad: Facilitate agile ceremonies alongside the Tech Lead, maintaining the squad's delivery pace and ensuring that each sprint positively impacts the adoption metrics or availability of the cross-functional service.

• Assurance of Adoption and Documentation: Ensure that each delivery of cross-functional technical service includes robust documentation, acceptance criteria validated with consumer verticals, and clear API contracts that guarantee reuse at scale.

• Evangelization and Standard Alignment: Act as the entry point for technology governance for all engineering and product verticals, identifying duplicate efforts and promoting the adoption of centralized solutions.

• Governance, Security, and Availability: Ensure that all cross-functional services meet strict standards of security, availability (SLA), PCI-DSS, and CMF regulations, validating any critical changes with the Security and Architecture teams.

• Measurement and Platform Optimization: Monitor availability, adoption, and performance metrics to validate architectural hypotheses, ensuring that technical improvements translate into better performance for the entire ecosystem.

⛳️ Requirements

• Professionals in Civil Engineering in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering with a technological focus, or related fields (demonstrable equivalent experience is valued).

• Desired Certifications: Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO); training in API or microservices architecture (TOGAF, API Academy, etc.); certifications in application or Cloud security (AWS, GCP, Azure at the associate level).

• 3 years in roles such as Product Owner, Platform Product Manager, or equivalent positions focused on cross-functional technical services, APIs, or enabling platforms.

• Experience managing the complete lifecycle of at least one cross-functional technical service or shared platform, acting as a multi-team liaison and leading standardization initiatives in medium to large-scale organizations.

• Previous experience in Fintechs, banks, neobanks, payment platforms, or ecosystems based on large-scale microservices architecture.
