Product Owner, Card Payment Experience

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Establish and oversee the product vision, roadmap, and key priorities.

• Gather and evaluate the needs of clients, users, the market, and competitors.

• Convert business objectives into well-defined product requirements.

• Organize and prioritize the product backlog effectively.

• Develop and maintain epics, features, user stories, and product specifications.

• Collaborate closely with development teams during sprint planning, backlog refinement, and product delivery phases.

• Assist in release planning and overall release management.

• Track product advancement throughout all phases of development.

• Keep product documentation and the product catalogue up to date.

• Serve as the primary product liaison for internal teams, clients, and stakeholders.

• Aid clients in comprehending the product's value and its associated business benefits.

• Contribute to global business development efforts, including proposals, marketing, and the development of offerings.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience as a Product Owner or in Product Management.

• Background in the fintech, banking, or payments sectors.

• Familiarity with SaaS platforms, card payments, alternative payment methods, mobile wallets, or e-commerce.

• Strong understanding of Agile and Kanban methodologies.

• Proficient in managing product backlogs, user stories, sprint planning, and release processes.

• Experience in defining MVPs, product roadmaps, and business strategies.

• Solid comprehension of APIs, payment processing, and payment-related standards/regulations, including PCI DSS, ISO 8583, ISO 20022, and PSD2.

• Proficient with Jira and Microsoft tools.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

• A strong customer-centric mindset.
