• Reporting directly to the Chief Product Officer, the Senior Product Manager oversees resource allocation throughout the portfolio, guiding team capacity towards the most impactful initiatives.

• This role translates customer insights, clinical context, and data capabilities into well-defined requirements that engineering, design, and data analytics teams can confidently execute.

• The position requires a strong understanding of both overarching strategy and the intricate details involved in delivering software within a regulated healthcare environment.

• Manage, mentor, and develop direct reports, establishing clear objectives, providing regular feedback, and facilitating their growth.

• Oversee resource distribution across the portfolio, balancing team capacity with priorities and adjusting as circumstances change.

• Offer prioritization guidance to engineering teams to ensure focus remains on the most critical tasks.

• Collaborate with the Chief Product Officer on product strategy, roadmap trade-offs, and communication with executive stakeholders to secure support for key decisions.

• Maintain an ongoing voice-of-the-customer feedback loop, synthesizing input from the support team, patients, and clinical operations into prioritized, actionable product insights.

• Build relationships with patients and clinical team members willing to validate concepts and prioritize features prior to significant development investment.

• Transform customer and market insights into clear, well-defined functional and non-functional requirements, including those related to privacy, security, and accessibility.

• Write product requirements documents, user stories, and acceptance criteria that accurately reflect actual user needs, clinical workflows, and business objectives.

• Contribute to build-versus-buy analyses for new capabilities, basing recommendations on the market landscape, technical feasibility, security posture, and strategic alignment.

• Manage and prioritize the product backlog for assigned areas in close collaboration with engineering.

• Utilize AI tools to streamline the process from concept to released feature, encompassing drafting requirements and synthesizing research to developing working prototypes.

• Design and maintain product roadmaps grounded in customer evidence, aligned with Inception’s strategic priorities, and feasible given engineering capacity and timelines.

• Work collaboratively across clinical operations, data analytics, engineering, helpdesk, and revenue cycle, ensuring product decisions consider all relevant viewpoints and that progress is communicated effectively.

• Assist in creating training materials, including product documentation, feature narratives, and client-facing communications, as new capabilities are introduced.

• Plan and implement product releases across the portfolio, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are achieved while managing changes thoughtfully for clinic and patient users.

• Communicate product updates and changes to internal teams, stakeholders, and end-users in a clear, accurate, and timely manner.

• Collaborate with support and QA teams to evaluate and prioritize bugs and issues, ensuring timely resolutions based on their impact on patients and clinical operations.

• Define and track success metrics for each release, using outcome data to validate decisions and guide subsequent iterations.

• Ensure that Prelude Connect, Practice Edge, and Prelude Cryo capabilities comply with relevant healthcare regulations and security standards, including HIPAA for U.S. protected health information and PIPEDA for personal health information of Canadian individuals.

• Implement responsible-AI practices, avoiding exposure of protected health information to unapproved AI tools and ensuring AI-enabled features meet HIPAA, PIPEDA, and company data handling standards.

• Assist in establishing and refining product practices, including customer interview frameworks, requirements templates, prioritization methodologies, and feedback loops.

• Promote a customer-first, evidence-based approach across the team.

• Engage in occasional customer and partner interactions, traveling as necessary to foster relationships and gather direct market insights.
