Product Owner – Head of IAM Directory Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead the strategy, engineering, and lifecycle management of enterprise directory and machine identity platforms.

• Take ownership of the Directory Services and Certificate Lifecycle Management platforms from start to finish.

• Define and implement a multi-year platform strategy that aligns with the enterprise Zero Trust and identity security initiatives.

• Manage the platform backlog, set priorities, and oversee engineering delivery.

• Provide engineering and operational leadership for the enterprise directory services infrastructure.

• Ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of the enterprise directory infrastructure.

• Oversee the enterprise PKI ecosystem, guaranteeing secure certificate issuance and validation.

• Lead the hybrid identity architecture that integrates Active Directory with Microsoft Entra ID and cloud identity services.

• Supervise identity synchronization and lifecycle processes.

• Direct the enterprise machine identity and certificate lifecycle management program, including governance of Venafi or similar CLM platforms.

• Enhance the security posture of identity infrastructure platforms.

• Propel automation initiatives across directory services.

• Collaborate with enterprise architecture and cybersecurity teams to align identity services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline.

• Over 15 years of experience in Identity and Access Management, Directory Services, and Identity Infrastructure.

• More than 10 years of experience in leading engineering teams or holding platform ownership roles in IAM or identity infrastructure sectors.

• Demonstrated experience in operating and modernizing large-scale Active Directory environments, including multi-domain and multi-forest architectures.

• Experience in managing hybrid identity platforms that integrate Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID.

• Practical experience in implementing Certificate Lifecycle Management (CLM) or PKI platforms, such as Venafi or comparable solutions.

• Experience in supporting identity platforms within global enterprise settings.

• Familiarity with operating within a product model, including taking ownership of platform roadmaps and delivery results.

• Capacity to lead engineering teams while effectively collaborating with security, infrastructure, and application engineering stakeholders.

• Strong communication skills with both technical teams and senior leadership.

• Ability to drive complex identity transformations in large enterprise environments.

• A passion for automation, security, and operational excellence.
