This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +19 more states.
• Spearhead the product vision and long-term strategy for a significant federal system modernization initiative, transforming outdated platforms into secure, user-focused digital solutions.
• Foster consensus among various federal agency departments and subcontractors, balancing conflicting priorities and ensuring collective ownership of product decisions.
• Communicate progress, metrics, and roadmaps to senior leadership, promoting transparency and data-driven decision-making.
• Prioritize features based on a combination of regulatory requirements, user research, and technical feasibility within a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
• Lead a cross-functional Scrum team (human-centered design, engineering, quality assurance), facilitating planning and synchronization ceremonies to ensure efficient and successful delivery.
• Manage the backlog by crafting user stories, clarifying intricate business rules, and defining acceptance criteria, testing functionality, and shaping product decisions alongside the team.
• Collaborate with Engineering team members to integrate security, accessibility (Section 508), and automation into the product.
• Support Coforma’s growth by recruiting new talent, providing peer coaching, and driving practice-wide improvements within the Product Management department.
• Enhance Coforma’s Product practice through active collaboration with the Growth team, contributing to proposals and identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience as a digital Product Manager specifically leading product and/or platform modernization initiatives or large-scale digital transformations.
• Previous experience in agile environments defining product features, setting priorities, and facilitating backlog refinement.
• Strong understanding of detailed technical aspects such as APIs, CI/CD, Infrastructure-as-Code, and more.
• Extensive knowledge of iterative delivery processes in highly regulated, multi-vendor settings.
• Ability to effectively communicate with and influence both technical teams and non-technical policy stakeholders.
• Must be a full-time resident of the contiguous United States (legally authorized to work in the United States now and in the future without sponsorship).
• Capability to pass a Public Trust background check (additional security clearance may be required depending on project needs).
• Internet: Commitment to prioritizing and maintaining access to strong, reliable internet for the remote nature of our work, except during vacation or holidays.
• Security: Adherence to the highest security practices to ensure the privacy and security of Coforma and client information, even while on vacation.
