Product Owner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Define and take ownership of the product vision, ensuring it aligns with business objectives, marketing strategies, and technical execution.

• Serve as the main liaison between stakeholders, marketing teams, and engineering, effectively translating strategic goals into actionable product results.

• Guide both client and internal teams towards collective alignment, proactively addressing conflicts between business priorities, delivery limitations, and user requirements.

• Establish and maintain trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders, acting as a reliable point of contact for product decisions and strategic guidance.

• Lead both discovery and delivery processes by keeping a clear, prioritized roadmap that is based on user experience, PXM best practices, and platform capabilities (Adobe stack).

• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure that solutions are scalable, feasible, and compatible with Adobe-based architectures and integrations (e.g., Experience Manager, search/personalization tools).

• Advocate for the use of AI tools throughout the SDLC to enhance speed, quality, and decision-making.

• Exhibit executive presence during client interactions, confidently navigating complex discussions with clarity.

• Identify risks related to delivery, stakeholder alignment, and commercial health, leading proactive mitigation strategies.

• Discover opportunities to expand Valtech’s engagements by linking delivery excellence with strategic insights.

• Mentor junior product and delivery team members, enhancing the overall capability of the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a Senior Product Owner / Product Manager in a digital consultancy or agency setting, managing complex client engagements.

• Proficiency in both French and English.

• Extensive hands-on experience with Adobe platforms (mandatory), preferably including Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and associated ecosystem tools.

• Familiarity with Coveo (preferred) and/or LiveSearch (preferred) or similar enterprise search, personalization, or discovery platforms.

• Experience working within or alongside Product Experience Management (PXM) practices, with the capability to connect content, commerce, and experience orchestration.

• Proven ability to convert business and marketing strategies into technical product delivery, collaborating closely with engineering teams.

• Strong client-facing and stakeholder management abilities, with the skill to influence senior stakeholders and foster alignment across functions.

• Experience with Commerce and Luxury projects.

• Strong executive presence and communication capabilities across both business and technical audiences.

• Practical experience utilizing AI tools throughout the SDLC.

• Experience managing product roadmaps and backlogs comprehensively, with strong prioritization and decision-making skills.

• Solid commercial awareness, including SOW management and budget responsibility.

• In-depth understanding of Agile delivery frameworks, applied pragmatically.
