Product Owner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Advocating for the customer's viewpoint

• Collaborating with stakeholders to define and prioritize product requirements

• Partnering with the Agile/Scrum team to ensure quality design and implementation

• Working closely with other Product Owners to synchronize efforts and product focus

• Engaging with the Client Success team to grasp current client challenges and outline actions to address them

• Offering constructive feedback to the development and technical support team

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field

• 5 years of practical experience as a Product Owner or relevant experience in Software Product Management, Project Management, or Product Development

• Product-centric mindset: capable of assessing priorities and making challenging needs-based decisions

• Collaborative approach: demonstrated history of guiding teams and stakeholders towards practical consensus, leading to valuable product roadmaps and implementations

• Exceptional communication skills (including listening, writing, speaking, public speaking, presentation, virtual meetings, and video recording)

• Ability to effectively interact with individuals in high-pressure situations while maintaining positive customer relations

• Capability to work with diverse individuals from various backgrounds and cultures

• Proven ability to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple tasks

• Demonstrated capacity to work independently towards overarching objectives

• Proficiency in English.

• Professional experience in shipbuilding or manufacturing (preferred)

• Enthusiastic about and experienced in Agile development methodologies and processes like Scrum (preferred)

• Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) Certification (preferred)

• Familiarity with Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence (preferred)

• Experience with AutoCAD or other CAD software (preferred)
