Product Owner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Lead the vision and implementation of impactful features in customer due diligence and financial crime, from the initial design phase through to launch.

• Develop a clear vision for the product area and serve as the primary point of contact for its roadmap.

• Collaborate with design and engineering teams to prototype and validate practical solutions that address customer challenges.

• Take complete ownership of the product area's strategy aimed at resolving customer and business issues.

• Convert complex business and technical requirements into actionable user stories.

• Leverage qualitative data and customer insights to prioritize the product backlog.

• Work alongside stakeholders to balance business priorities while effectively communicating the product area roadmap.

• Maintain product governance with a focus on risk management and adherence to regulatory standards.

• Ensure that features remain viable, usable, and feasible throughout the entire product lifecycle.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in developing and launching products, ideally within the banking or financial services sectors.

• Hands-on experience navigating the complexities of financial crime and customer due diligence requirements in a regulated setting.

• Strong ability to identify operational and customer requirements and tackle complex problems.

• Skilled in conducting customer research, mapping customer journeys, and pinpointing opportunities for improvement.

• Demonstrated experience in digital product discovery, delivery, and operational management.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for building relationships and influencing stakeholders.

• A technical background with a solid understanding of product management, software development, and user experience (UX).

• Familiarity with technologies across mobile, web, and APIs.
