Product Owner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Take ownership and prioritize the product backlog, focusing on features, LiveOps initiatives, and enhancements to player experience.

• Convert business objectives, player requirements, and product strategy into actionable development plans.

• Collaborate closely with Engineering and Design teams to deliver impactful features efficiently.

• Ensure that sprint goals and roadmap priorities are aligned with commercial and engagement targets.

• Utilize AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Notion AI, and analytics copilots to enhance product workflows.

• Create and refine user stories, documentation, requirements, and experimentation plans through AI-assisted methods.

• Assist in the rapid prototyping and validation of product concepts.

• Continuously seek opportunities where AI can enhance team efficiency, product quality, and player outcomes.

• Make data-driven product decisions by leveraging analytics, player insights, and A/B testing.

• Track and optimize KPIs, including engagement, retention, conversion, and monetization.

• Promote iterative feature development as opposed to large, singular releases.

• Work with analytics teams to uncover opportunities for growth and optimization.

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.

• Clearly communicate priorities, trade-offs, and delivery statuses to stakeholders.

• Assist in aligning teams around measurable outcomes and their impact on players.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or in a comparable role within games, mobile applications, or live-service products.

• Strong grasp of Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.

• Experience in managing product backlogs, roadmaps, and sprint planning processes.

• Familiarity with free-to-play (F2P) mechanics, LiveOps, and monetization frameworks.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Experience in fast-paced, cross-functional team environments.

• AI Skills (Essential).

• Practical experience utilizing AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Notion AI, or similar platforms.

• Capability to use AI to enhance product planning, documentation, ideation, and workflow efficiency.

• Experience in leveraging AI for rapid iterations, experimentation, and generating insights.

• Strong understanding of how AI can enhance product development processes and team productivity.
