Product Owner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.

📋 Description

• Oversee the prioritization and upkeep of the product backlog.

• Establish clear acceptance criteria for each item in the backlog.

• Engage with business stakeholders to collect feedback and comprehend evolving requirements.

• Incorporate a variety of stakeholder perspectives into the development process.

• Work collaboratively with architects, developers, PCM, Hybris, and other specialized teams.

• Ensure technical alignment and facilitate smooth development cycles.

• Maintain transparency and provide visibility into the product backlog and progress reports.

• Manage the daily tactical aspects of product development.

• Prioritize critical tasks to ensure high-quality releases that align with the MDM roadmap.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum and Kanban.

• Demonstrated experience in product ownership and effective backlog management.

• Excellent interpersonal skills to connect technical teams with business stakeholders.

• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills for handling complex MDM requirements.

• Basic knowledge of DMBoK data management principles is preferred.

• Familiarity with modern database and information systems technologies, including ERP and MDM.

• Experience with Jira boards and dashboards/reporting.

• Strong organizational and time management capabilities.

• Keen attention to detail with the ability to multitask effectively.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Willingness to adhere to processes and seek clarification when necessary.

• Bachelor’s degree in business/marketing or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• 3+ years of experience in Product Owner roles.

• Preferred certifications include Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO), Project Management Professional (PMP), and Data Management Professional (CDMP).
