This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• In the role of Product Owner for ProviderSoft, you will be responsible for converting product priorities into clear, actionable tasks that further our mission.

• You will collaborate closely with Client Services, Sales, and various leadership teams throughout the organization.

• Implement a structured client feedback program encompassing interviews, input from Customer Support and Sales, and theme synthesis that informs roadmap discussions.

• Convert the needs of agencies, operations, and internal stakeholders into comprehensive and precise requirements.

• Ensure that workflows accurately represent how ProviderSoft is utilized in production settings.

• Develop functional specifications that are thorough and organized enough to directly guide development.

• Manage and uphold the ProviderSoft product backlog, ensuring alignment with platform priorities and roadmap direction.

• Drive the creation of test plans, allowing QA to generate test cases from specifications prior to development.


⛳️ Requirements

• 3 to 5+ years of experience in a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar delivery-oriented product role within the B2B SaaS sector.

• Proven track record of producing structured specifications that developers can utilize without requiring extensive clarification.

• Proficiency in AI tools. You actively engage with technologies like Claude, Copilot, or similar tools in your daily work and can discuss specific workflows you've implemented.

• Experience in conducting customer discovery activities, including interviews, feedback synthesis, and translating qualitative insights into prioritized tasks.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the capability to clarify ambiguity and create specifications, user stories, release notes, and stakeholder updates independently.

• Familiarity with mockup and prototyping tools such as Figma or Balsamiq, along with a strong perspective on the quality of UI and UX.

• Extensive experience in defining requirements for complex, workflow-driven, or legacy-rich platforms.
