This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Take ownership of and prioritize the team backlog, ensuring alignment with the Medical Imaging product roadmap and strategic objectives.
• Transform features into well-defined user stories with clear acceptance criteria, and validate completed stories on behalf of the team.
• Engage in daily collaboration with our engineering team based in Brazil for backlog refinement, story development, and acceptance.
• Participate in PI Planning and team ceremonies by presenting the team backlog, setting iteration goals, and contributing to PI objectives.
• Collaborate with other Product Owners within the Agile Release Train to identify risks and manage dependencies across teams.
• Cultivate subject matter expertise in Medical Imaging workflows along with the Purview Image and Expert View platforms.
• Coordinate with operations and support teams to address production issues and customer escalations, prioritizing them in the team backlog.
• Drive backlog priorities that unify Medical Imaging capabilities with HealthMark’s platforms and processes.
• Incorporate HIPAA, privacy, and data compliance requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, and the team's definition of done.
• Collaborate with Product Management on feature definition, gradually increasing ownership over time.
• Occasional travel to our Dallas headquarters and/or client sites may be necessary.
• Bachelor's or master's degree, or equivalent experience.
• Over 5 years of experience in Product Owner or similar product roles.
• Strong familiarity with Agile/SAFe methodologies.
• Proven experience in writing user stories and managing backlogs.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Exceptional organizational skills, capable of working independently and managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• SAFe Certification: SAFe POPM certification is preferred.
• Must obtain certification within 6 months of hire if not already certified.
• Experience with medical imaging platforms and workflows (e.g., PACS, DICOM, image exchange) is highly preferred.
• Background in Healthcare IT (e.g., Release of Information, health records exchange) combined with extensive SAFe practice.
• Experience collaborating with distributed or near-shore engineering teams.
