Product Owner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Engage in fit/gap analysis sessions to comprehend clients’ business operations.

• Evaluate business functions, collect information, and assess output needs and formats.

• Conduct needs assessments by gathering data on work procedures, workflows, reports, and customer business demands.

• Identify system utilization requirements through research and testing.

• Document requirements and develop workflow and process diagrams.

• Collaborate with the UI/UX team to design mockups based on established requirements.

• Serve as the Product Owner within the scrum team throughout the Agile development process.

• Coordinate functionality demonstrations for management, end users, and internal personnel.

• Facilitate User Acceptance Testing with end users or on their behalf.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree and four (4) years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of four (4) years of experience, education, and training in lieu of a degree.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

• Experience in creating workflows and mockups.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

• Strong conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.

• Experience in gathering information and participating in business process analysis.

• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

• Excellent organizational and planning skills.

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

• Confidence in interacting and collaborating with clients across various business sectors.

• Comfortable using technology, including web-based systems.

• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Quick adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

• Must be eligible to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.

• Must be a US Citizen.

• Preferred experience in Grants Management.
