This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of and manage the product backlog for Optimizely DXP (Omni), SSO/identity, and various engineering projects, ensuring that items are well-defined, prioritized, and ready for development.
• Collaborate with Business Systems, Revenue Operations, and business stakeholders to gather, validate, and refine requirements prior to their entry into engineering sprints.
• Establish acceptance criteria for user stories and ensure that the engineering team is provided with adequate context to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Prioritize tasks across multiple ongoing projects (Optimizely commerce, SSO, data platform integrations, internal tools) based on business value, technical dependencies, and organizational strategy.
• Participate in and contribute to sprint planning, backlog refinement, and sprint reviews in collaboration with the Scrum Master and engineering leads.
• Act as the primary liaison between engineering and business stakeholders regarding scope, timelines, and delivery inquiries.
• Coordinate with vendor partners to ensure that external development efforts align with internal priorities and architectural guidelines.
• Collaborate with QA to define testing strategies and acceptance validation for features prior to their release.
• Create and convey product roadmaps that align engineering capacity with business objectives across commerce, identity, certification, and data platform initiatives.
• Manage stakeholder expectations by providing clear status updates, identifying risks early, and suggesting trade-off options when conflicts regarding scope or timelines arise.
• Work alongside the Director of Internal Systems Architecture to ensure that product decisions adhere to enterprise architecture standards and long-term technical strategy.
• Strong grasp of Agile/Scrum methodologies with practical experience as a Product Owner or in a similar capacity.
• Experience with enterprise commerce platforms such as Optimizely, Salesforce Commerce, or equivalent solutions.
• Ability to convert complex business requirements into clear, actionable user stories with measurable acceptance criteria.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication abilities across both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience working with distributed teams, including offshore or vendor development partners.
• Proficiency in Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar work management tools for handling backlogs and sprint management.
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle, CI/CD practices, and release management processes.
• Data-driven decision-making capabilities with the ability to utilize delivery metrics for prioritization.
• Strong organizational skills demonstrated by the ability to manage competing priorities across multiple concurrent projects.
• Familiarity with the Microsoft Dynamics 365 ecosystem (CRM, F&O, Commerce) is an advantage.
• Knowledge of .NET, Next.js, or modern web application architectures is a plus.
• Experience in a cross-functional technology organization supporting multiple product lines simultaneously.
• 2+ years of experience in working with enterprise-scale web platforms or eCommerce systems is a plus.
