Product Owner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Accountable for discovering and mapping the ecosystem throughout the entire French region, establishing a comprehensive strategy for this challenge and overseeing the ongoing work backlog of the Agile team.

• Define, document, prioritize, and manage the backlog, typically in the form of user stories with acceptance criteria. The items in the backlog collectively outline the agreed-upon features for development, provide clarity for engineering and design teams, and offer a structured method for business stakeholders to influence build decisions.

• Continuously oversee this process to facilitate incremental value delivery as development advances and requirements change, collaborating closely with the Scrum Master (if applicable) and other members of the engineering and design teams.

• Work in close partnership with client Product Managers, Project Managers, Business Analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure effective delivery, while being responsible for ensuring that individual work items meet their intended purpose upon delivery.

• This is a contractor position for a duration of 6 months.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in English at an advanced level.

• Comprehension of Agile principles and practices with the ability to collaborate with facilitators to promote best practices.

• Develop and maintain a backlog of specifications to provide designers and developers with the clarity they require.

• Support designers and developers as the authoritative voice of the product, addressing uncertainties and assisting in defect triage.

• Leverage product analytics and user research findings to guide value-based prioritization of tasks.

• Assume overall responsibility for product quality, advocate for business requirements, and approve completed work.

• Skilled in using essential business tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
