This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Compose clear and detailed user stories that include acceptance criteria, user journeys, and pertinent design and architectural specifications.
• Establish and maintain a rigorous Definition of Ready (DoR) and Definition of Done (DoD) to guarantee clarity and uphold the highest quality throughout the development lifecycle.
• Organize and conduct engaging Sprint Demos for stakeholders, highlighting the team’s accomplishments and soliciting valuable feedback.
• Serve as the final authority for sprint deliverables, approving user stories and bugs to ensure they satisfy all acceptance criteria.
• Adopt a data-driven methodology by establishing success metrics (KPIs, ROI) and collaborating with stakeholders on product impact objectives.
• Facilitate requirements gathering workshops (Inspect Phase) with technical experts and stakeholders to extract business needs and address gaps.
• Lead backlog refinement sessions, deconstructing epics into manageable, well-defined stories and identifying all dependencies.
• Work closely with the Scrum Master and development team during PI Planning and throughout sprints to prioritize tasks, resolve obstacles, and achieve a high completion rate for stories.
• Promote a customer-centric approach by thoroughly understanding user pain points and ensuring they are incorporated into the product backlog.
• Demonstrated professional experience as a Product Owner, preferably in a software development or corporate setting.
• Outstanding communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Profound understanding of Agile principles and frameworks (SAFe), with practical experience in backlog management, refinement, and sprint planning.
• A strong analytical and data-driven perspective, with experience in defining and monitoring product KPIs.
• A true enthusiasm for grasping customer needs and converting them into actionable product requirements.
• Proven ability to write clear, succinct, and testable user stories along with acceptance criteria.
• Proactive, inquisitive, and adaptable, with a commitment to continuous learning in a dynamic environment.
• Familiarity with agile management tools such as Jira.
• Proficient in business English (C1), both written and spoken.
• Ability to communicate in Polish (B2/C1).
• Independence and initiative in daily tasks.
• Nice to have: Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO) or Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification.
• Experience engaging directly with end-users and conducting user research.
• A background in business analysis or a related discipline.
