This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Peru.
• Define and take ownership of the product roadmap, ensuring it aligns with the goals and priorities of the company.
• Collect and assess business requirements, converting them into clear, actionable user stories with established acceptance criteria.
• Prioritize the product backlog based on business value, technical complexity, and customer impact.
• Facilitate communication and foster alignment among technology, product, and business stakeholders.
• Work closely with Engineering, Design, QA, and DevOps teams to guarantee timely and high-quality product delivery.
• Conduct acceptance testing and validation of new features prior to their release.
• Monitor and evaluate product performance using tools like Power BI or similar, iterating based on data and user feedback.
• Contribute to post-launch activities, including documentation, knowledge sharing, and product training initiatives.
• Lead and manage the payments squad covering Peru, Mexico, Colombia, and future LATAM markets, ensuring alignment of the roadmap across all countries.
• Monitor and oversee payment acceptance rates with providers and merchants in each market, proactively identifying and addressing drops or anomalies in performance.
• Maintain active relationships at the product level with payment providers in the countries where we operate, collaborating with their product teams to align on roadmaps, integrations, and new capabilities.
• Ensure compliance with local payment regulations in Peru, Mexico, Colombia, and other markets, keeping abreast of regulatory changes that may influence product strategy.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related fields.
• Demonstrable experience as a Product Owner or in a similar product execution role.
• Domain knowledge in fintech, payments, or consumer platforms within the LATAM region, with experience in Peru (primarily), Mexico, and Colombia being highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Proven ability to manage product delivery within cross-functional, remote teams.
• In-depth knowledge of product discovery, backlog management, and stakeholder alignment.
• Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Power BI, and Monday.com.
• Familiarity with SQL and observability/monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana, Kibana) is considered a significant advantage in the selection process.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent English (mandatory).
