This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• The Extended Reality Product & Marketing Manager is tasked with the localization and translation of global XR solutions into a distinct market offer, ensuring a robust local customer experience and effective commercial execution.
• Lead or assist in go-to-market strategies, encompassing launch readiness, channel activation, system setup, marketing coordination, and cross-functional execution.
• Perform thorough analyses of the market, customers, competitors, and operations to identify barriers to adoption, localization necessities, market constraints, and operational deficiencies.
• Convert market insights into actionable recommendations for the product roadmap, commercialization priorities, and market enhancement initiatives.
• Develop and tailor product positioning, messaging, and value propositions for the local market while aligning with the global XR team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional local stakeholders, including sales, marketing, operations, commercial divisions, customer service, and regulatory entities.
• Oversee local project management for market readiness, tracking progress, and ensuring execution quality.
• Lead the coordination of the local rollout of the online customer journey.
• Drive offline retail enablement efforts in the market, which include selecting ECPs, onboarding, staff training, and conducting quality audits.
• Create sales enablement materials such as product narratives, training resources, launch toolkits, and competitive insights for commercial teams.
• Manage customer escalation cases in collaboration with local stakeholders, including customer service, regulatory, and marketing teams.
• Monitor customer feedback, adoption rates, and business KPIs post-launch, refining local execution as necessary.
• Lead the implementation of local improvement initiatives and communicate improvement needs to XRX.
• Ensure close collaboration with the global team to define support requirements.
• 5+ years of relevant professional experience in managing omnichannel retail, product marketing, product management, online/offline retail, omnichannel operations, project management, and stakeholder management.
• Proven experience in the optical or healthcare industry is advantageous.
• Experience with international rollouts and omnichannel strategies is preferred.
• Optional: Background in consumer technology, medical devices, or optical retail.
• Established history of successfully managing multi-workstream initiatives or roadmap-related programs in a retail or B2B2C context.
• Experience in managing local rollouts and coordinating cross-functional stakeholders within a matrix organization.
• Strong grasp of product marketing fundamentals, including segmentation, positioning, messaging, launch planning, and go-to-market execution.
• Exceptional communication and cross-functional leadership abilities; skilled at influencing stakeholders at various levels.
• Capacity to identify operational gaps, localization requirements, and market constraints, translating these into actionable strategies.
• Strong stakeholder management skills across sales, marketing, customer service, regulatory, retail operations, and global teams.
• Analytical mindset with the capability to track readiness, execution quality, launch performance, and customer issues in a structured manner.
• Optional: Experience in offline retail enablement, including partner or store onboarding, training coordination, and quality follow-up.
• Commercially oriented, customer-focused, and adept at thriving in fast-paced and ambiguous environments.
• Analytical and commercially minded; capable of linking data-driven insights to strategic decision-making.
• Entrepreneurial and inquisitive, comfortable navigating ambiguity and establishing new processes in a corporate setting.
• High level of accountability and ownership – able to manage topics comprehensively, make decisions within scope, and achieve results independently.
• Comfortable working in dynamic, ambiguous environments and taking the initiative to drive projects forward.
