Product Marketing Manager

Posted May 19

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Define and continuously refine SigNoz's positioning relative to competitors. Develop the messaging hierarchy, from technical ideal customer profiles (ICP) such as DevOps, SRE, and Platform to economic buyers like VP of Engineering and CTO.

• Create and oversee the production of technical content that is delivered, including battle cards, comparison pages, solution briefs, and launch narratives. You will be responsible for writing the initial draft.

• Manage the go-to-market (GTM) strategy for each major release, encompassing naming, narrative development, and launch sequencing across documentation, community engagement, social media, and sales efforts. Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams regarding roadmap context.

• Transform satisfied customers into a growth engine by managing case studies, reference programs, and customer stories. Identify advocates and create co-marketing opportunities.

• Conduct ongoing win/loss analysis and customer interviews. Utilize insights gathered to enhance segmentation, refine communication strategies, develop nurturing campaigns, and improve landing page copy.

• Provide the sales and customer success teams with all necessary resources for success, including battle cards, objection-handling guides, demo narratives, and persona-specific one-pagers. Manage the feedback loop between field conversations and marketing outputs to ensure that created materials are utilized effectively.

• Oversee the SigNoz website as a marketing asset. Drive the development of copy, messaging hierarchy, and page structure in collaboration with design and engineering teams. Conduct experiments to enhance trial signups, conversion from documentation to product, and self-serve activation, ensuring that every page serves a purpose.

• Monitor and optimize the entire marketing funnel, from initial awareness and first touch to trial conversion. Collaborate with growth and product teams to identify drop-off points, establish MQL/PQL criteria, and design campaigns that positively influence key metrics.

• Maintain an up-to-date understanding of the observability landscape. Track changes in pricing, feature updates, activation, and expansion. Create and maintain battle cards that are practical for sales and customer engagement teams to use in the field.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4–8 years of experience in product marketing, with a preference for experience in products targeting technical audiences.

• Exceptional writing skills: able to transition from crafting a technical changelog to creating an impactful homepage headline within the same day.

• Demonstrated success in conducting competitive analysis that has influenced sales strategies.

• Comfortable with ambiguity and enthusiastic about the "figure it out" aspect of being the first Product Marketing Manager at a dynamic startup.

• Proficient in data-driven decision-making to enhance funnels, product-led growth (PLG) metrics, and buyer journeys.

🏝️ Benefits

• Remote-first, asynchronous-respectful culture.
