This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Establish the vision, strategy, and roadmap for your product(s); take ownership of positioning relative to competing radar-camera and AI camera solutions.
• Define specifications for sensors, optics, radar modules, SoCs, and thermal/EMC constraints; find a balance between performance, cost, and manufacturability.
• Oversee the integration of radar detection, encoded video pipelines, on-device AI classification, and fusion logic to optimize detection while reducing nuisance alarms.
• Conduct market research, gather requirements, perform competitive analysis, build business cases, and manage launches at significant trade shows (GSX, ISC West).
• Create comprehensive PRDs, user stories, and validation plans; prioritize and manage trade-offs in collaboration with R&D.
• Execute field trials with integrators and end-users at critical infrastructure locations; collect feedback and refine hardware/firmware iterations.
• Produce datasheets, launch presentations, battle cards, and demo kits to support Sales, Marketing, and distribution partners.
• Monitor yield, MTBF, in-field returns, detection performance (PoD/NAR), and feature usage; integrate insights for continuous enhancement.
• A minimum of 5 years in product management for CCTV/video-surveillance or physical security devices, particularly radar-camera hybrids, perimeter sensors, or multi-technology detection systems.
• Demonstrated end-to-end management of at least one camera, NVR, encoder, radar, or similar hardware product throughout its lifecycle.
• Background in perimeter intrusion detection, outdoor security, or critical infrastructure protection.
• Experience collaborating with integrators, distributors, and indirect sales channels.
• In-depth understanding of imaging sensors, video pipelines, RTSP/ONVIF protocols.
• Familiarity with radar detection principles, coverage patterns, and RF interference issues.
• Experience with edge AI frameworks and hardware accelerators.
• Strong knowledge of BOM cost management, DFM, compliance (FCC/CE, international RF spectrum regulations), and supply chain dynamics.
• Project management skills including customer discovery, requirements gathering, prioritization, prototyping, and product launch.
• Effective and concise communicator capable of bridging hardware, firmware, software, and commercial teams.
• At ease presenting at trade shows and conducting customer-facing validation interviews.
