This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.
• Define and maintain the Payments Gateway roadmap, balancing technical debt, business enablers, and the operational stability required by other squads.
• Prioritize the backlog using both technical and business criteria: understand what affects the approval rate, what introduces availability risk, and what unlocks other teams.
• Act as the PM who articulates the vision for the Gateway Platform: the layer of contracts, SDKs, and adapters that will reduce each squad's dependency on the Gateway team.
• Serve as the single source of truth for the product scope of Gateway: transaction orchestration, webhooks, recurring payments, payment configuration...
• Define and document the interface contracts between Gateway and the consumer squads of the stream.
• Establish the OKRs for the Gateway squad aligned with the corporate OKRs of the Payments stream and Bold, ensuring that each initiative in the backlog has a clear link to a business objective.
• Translate corporate OKRs into measurable key results for the team: availability, transaction success rate, reduction of dependencies, integration time for new squads.
• Periodically track the progress of OKRs and adjust roadmap priorities as needed based on results.
• Work in short cycles with the engineering team to iterate on technical enablers that have a direct impact on the business.
• Define clear success metrics: transaction success rate, Gateway availability, API latency, and integration time for new squads.
• Proactively coordinate cross-squad dependencies — preventing bottlenecks from reaching the CTO.
• Actively participate in technical refinement: understand architectural decisions and be able to question trade-offs from a product perspective.
• Serve as the translator between business needs and the technical requirements of the engineering team.
• Support the Engineering Manager in managing and prioritizing the squad's capacity against a high-demand backlog.
• Academic background in Engineering, Business Administration, Product Design, or related fields, with a solid understanding of the data lifecycle.
• 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager in infrastructure, platform, or API products.
• Ability to read and understand technical documentation (REST APIs, architecture diagrams, integration contracts). You do not need to write code, but should understand what it does.
• Experience prioritizing in high technical debt environments: knowing how to distinguish between what is urgent and what is structurally important.
• Experience working with multiple teams that rely on your platform as a dependency — Basic knowledge of API REST communication.
• Strong analytical skills: think about availability, latency, and success rates as naturally as a UX PM thinks about conversion.
• Desirable: Experience in fintech or payment processing (acquiring, routing, gateways, PSPs).
• Familiarity with Domain-Driven Design (DDD) concepts or event-driven architectures.
• Experience with multi-country or multi-region products.
• Professional English to read technical documentation from providers (Visa, Mastercard, acquirers).
• Health assistance.
• Equity in an early-stage company with high potential.
• Indefinite term contract.
• Competitive salary.
• 100% remote work.
• Financial support for education.
• World-class technologies and processes.
• Additional days off beyond vacation.
