This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take full responsibility for the execution of payment product features, which include HSA debit card rails, claims auto-adjudication, ACH/RTP money transfers, and real-time payment notifications.
• Engage in and facilitate Scrum ceremonies, taking the lead when necessary.
• Propel short-term delivery while iterating based on stakeholder feedback and performance data.
• Connect delivery decisions to targets related to adoption, revenue, and operational efficiency.
• Lead the discovery process for payment-specific product challenges, such as spend authorization flows, payment partner integrations, and compliance-related money movement limitations.
• Integrate customer insights, signals from the payment industry, and competitive intelligence into testable hypotheses.
• Employ AI-enabled research tools to expedite synthesis while exercising human judgment.
• Navigate key payment metrics, including authorization rates, decline rates, transaction error rates, auto-adjudication throughput, and cost-per-transaction.
• Facilitate communication with engineering, compliance, finance, operations, and external payment partners.
• Clarify decision-making ownership, resolve obstacles, and contribute to payment strategy, sequencing, and trade-offs.
• Identify pain points in member payment experiences and transform trends into product enhancements.
• Participate in customer empathy sessions and validate payment UX hypotheses through experimental approaches.
• Bachelor's degree in business, technology, computer science, or a related discipline.
• Over 4 years of professional experience, with at least 2 years in product management roles that involve direct ownership of feature delivery.
• Proven experience in fintech, healthcare payments, or consumer financial products.
• Practical knowledge of payment rails, money movement, or benefits account platforms.
• Established capability to convert customer and operational insights into testable hypotheses and deliver product results.
• Experience collaborating cross-functionally with engineering, compliance, operations, and external vendor partners.
• Proficiency in qualitative and quantitative analysis, data dashboards, and managing imperfect information.
• Previous experience with a health benefits administrator, HSA/FSA/HRA platform, or fintech organization.
• Understanding of IRS substantiation requirements, IIAS, 213(d), Reg E, and AML/KYC frameworks within a benefits payment context.
• Background in RTP/FedNow or ACH product development.
• Familiarity with claims adjudication logic or auto-adjudication workflows.
• Experience in designing AI-assisted product workflows utilizing LLMs or agents.
• An MBA or equivalent graduate education is considered an additional qualification.
