This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hong Kong.
• Take ownership of a specific area within the Payments product lifecycle — from defining problems and prioritizing tasks to delivering solutions and iterating on them.
• Acquire a comprehensive understanding of clients, payment functionalities, and compliance needs that influence your domain; leverage this knowledge to make informed and decisive product choices.
• Conduct organized discovery sessions with clients and partners to pinpoint gaps and validate your direction prior to committing to development.
• Proactively discover gaps, risks, and opportunities within your domain — you take initiative rather than waiting for direction.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, solutions architecture, compliance, and legal teams to drive product results within your domain.
• Establish strong working relationships with external partners and clients to guide your product strategy.
• Clearly communicate product decisions, the rationale behind them, and trade-offs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Participate in team discussions regarding strategy, operating models, and prioritization — your input influences team operations beyond just product development.
• Draft product specifications that are precise enough for engineers to execute and clear enough for compliance and legal teams to validate.
• Set success metrics for your domain and utilize data to assess whether you are progressing appropriately.
• Uphold a high standard for product quality — you care about the nuances of functionality, not just whether a product has been released.
• Actively leverage AI tools to enhance your productivity — including research, specification writing, competitive analysis, client communication, and strategic synthesis.
• Promote the integration of AI-native practices within the team; you elevate the standards for excellence.
• Identify opportunities to incorporate AI-assisted features directly into the product, beyond your individual workflow.
• 3-5 years of experience in product management within fintech, payments infrastructure, or B2B SaaS — demonstrating a history of independently managing significant product domains.
• Extensive knowledge of the payments ecosystem — you comprehend payment networks, on/offramps, stablecoin use cases, foreign exchange, banking partnerships, and compliance as an integrated system.
• Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements pertinent to payments — including AML, KYC/KYB, transaction screening/monitoring, and jurisdiction-specific obligations.
• Experience working with APIs throughout the entire process — capable of reading specifications, assessing integration designs, and writing detailed API-level requirements.
• A passionate AI enthusiast — you actively integrate AI tools into your workflow to enhance efficiency and effectiveness, and you can demonstrate your usage.
• Excellent written communication skills — your memos, specifications, and strategic documents are articulate, logically organized, and self-sufficient.
• Insurance coverage after the probation period.
• Reap Card stipend.
• Access to AI tools at work, along with the opportunity to learn, experiment, and grow with them.
• A culture that fosters innovation, inclusion, and continuous learning.
