Product Manager – Payment Split

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the entire product development process from concept to launch and subsequent iterations.

• Establish and steer the roadmap for a new consumer financial product.

• Weigh customer requirements against risk, compliance, and business limitations.

• Collaborate with engineering, design, data, risk, and legal teams to deliver a top-notch consumer experience.

• Leverage data and experimentation to inform decisions and foster ongoing improvements after launch.

• Manage underwriting and regulatory obligations in the role of product owner.

• Identify and oversee third-party partnerships and integrations.

• Advocate for the product to senior leadership by providing data-driven insights on prioritization and trade-offs.

⛳️ Requirements

• 6–12 years of experience in product management within consumer fintech or rapidly evolving financial technology sectors.

• Proven history of managing a product focused on splitting rent or payments.

• Proficient in utilizing AI tools to expedite development and produce measurable outcomes.

• Strong comfort level operating at the crossroads of consumer experience and financial product constraints.

• A heightened sense of urgency and a strong sense of ownership.

• Accountability for results and the capability to independently drive projects from start to finish.

• Low ego with a strong aptitude for collaboration among technical, legal, and executive stakeholders.

• Authorization to work legally in the United States.

• Ability to work without the need for employment-based immigration sponsorship, or to disclose relevant immigration status if sponsorship is necessary.
