Product Manager – Mobile Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia.

📋 Description

• Daily Product Command — Take ownership of every stage of the mobile product lifecycle on both iOS and Android platforms.

• Product Backlog Management — Keep a well-organized and prioritized backlog that includes features, bugs, and enhancements.

• Feature Discovery & Delivery — Spearhead ideation, research, competitive analysis, and ensure timely feature delivery.

• UI/UX Perfection — Uphold pixel-perfect mobile design standards and identify micro-alignment issues across different devices.

• Mobile UX Research — Continuously gather competitor insights and update UX research, focusing on top-performing applications.

• App Store Optimization (ASO) — Enhance the app's presence in the store by optimizing descriptions, screenshots, keywords, ratings, and reviews.

• Post-Production Control — Supervise releases in real time and address any issues immediately following deployment.

• Product Events & Monitoring — Establish thresholds, alerts, and proactive monitoring for crashes, ANRs, and performance irregularities.

• Push Notification Strategy — Oversee the roadmap, testing, segmentation, and optimization to boost user engagement.

• Mobile Performance Optimization — Ensure adherence to benchmarks for load times, battery consumption, memory usage, and app size.

• In-App User Flows — Design and refine onboarding processes, paywalls, subscription flows, and essential user journeys.

• Mixpanel Execution — Monitor metrics, funnels, heatmaps, and session replays to inform backlog priorities.

• Platform-Specific Considerations — Provide native-feeling experiences that align with iOS and Android guidelines.

• Version Release Management — Manage submissions, rollouts, phased releases, and rollback strategies.

• Twice-Daily Feedback Loops — Deliver comprehensive feedback to development and data teams at least twice daily.

• Team Coordination — Facilitate daily action items for the Product Owner, QA, Development, and Data teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Entrepreneurial and practical business experience is essential, even if past ventures were not successful.

• 5+ years of experience overseeing mobile applications and teams on both iOS and Android platforms.

• 5+ years in product management roles with a proven track record of managing complex mobile products under daily operational oversight.

• Experience leading Product Owners, QA, development, and data teams in a mobile-focused environment.

• Exceptional attention to detail — capable of instantly identifying 1-pixel misalignments across various devices.

• Profound understanding of mobile design patterns, touch interfaces, and platform-specific UI/UX guidelines (iOS Human Interface Guidelines, Material Design).

• Demonstrable history of analyzing competitive mobile apps and improving UI/UX.

• Extensive knowledge of component-based mobile UI systems and UI refactoring.

• Familiarity with mobile app analytics platforms and attribution tools (Firebase, Adjust, AppsFlyer, or similar).

• Strong proficiency in data analytics events and KPI-driven product oversight, particularly in mobile retention, DAU/MAU, and LTV metrics.

• 2+ years of practical experience with Mixpanel for advanced product analytics.

• Understanding of mobile app architecture, API design, and the differences between native and cross-platform solutions.

• Experience managing App Store and Google Play Store submissions, reviews, and compliance requirements.

• Familiarity with AI tools (ChatGPT-5, Anthropic) for product operations.

• Knowledge of mobile A/B testing frameworks and methodologies for experimentation.

• Dynamic, ambitious, and resilient when necessary to complete tasks effectively.

• Strong accountability mindset with a results-oriented culture.

• Fluency in English.
