Product Manager, Migrations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Serve as the main point of contact for migration clients, overseeing expectations, scope, risks, and escalation processes.

• Facilitate both internal and external discussions to relay project status, risks, and forthcoming steps to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Collaborate with clients to synchronize migration phases, timelines, and success criteria with business goals.

• Organize and lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) along with regular pulse checks.

• Direct the execution of AWS migration projects through discovery, planning, execution, cutover, and post-migration stabilization phases.

• Work in conjunction with Solutions Architects and Engineers on:

• - Migration strategy (re-host, re-platform, refactor)

• - Dependency mapping and sequencing

• - Cutover planning and rollback strategies

• Actively engage in backlog refinement, estimation, and delivery planning for migration workstreams.

• Ensure that architectural decisions made during pre-sales are accurately implemented during delivery.

• Detect technical and delivery risks early and drive their resolution proactively.

• Manage team allocation and project assignments across all migration initiatives.

• Continuously monitor pending deals and sales forecasts to keep HR updated on emerging recruitment needs.

• Lead and coordinate distributed, cross-functional teams including Engineering, DevOps, QA, and Product.

• Ensure that teams are aligned with priorities, scope, and delivery milestones.

• Transition projects smoothly between discovery, execution, and stabilization phases.

• Maintain delivery hygiene (timesheets, Azure DevOps/Jira boards, SOPs, playbooks, documentation, estimates).

• Uphold RevStar delivery standards, migration best practices, and quality gates.

• Ensure that migration deliverables adhere to RevStar's quality, security, and operational standards.

• Distribute CSAT surveys, gather feedback, and translate insights into delivery enhancements.

• Identify opportunities for optimization, expansion, or subsequent migrations in collaboration with Solutions Architecture and Sales.

• Contribute to the development of RevStar’s migration playbooks, standards, and delivery frameworks.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in delivery leadership, engineering leadership, consulting, or technical project management.

• Practical experience in delivering cloud migrations or large-scale modernization projects.

• Strong grasp of cloud infrastructure fundamentals (networking, compute, storage, IAM).

• Full lifecycle delivery experience utilizing Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Demonstrated ability to simplify complex technical issues and guide teams through uncertain situations.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Capacity to work independently, proactively, and with a team-oriented mindset.

• AWS certifications (Solutions Architect Associate or Professional) (Nice to Haves).

• Experience in regulated environments (HIPAA, SOC 2, PCI, etc.) (Nice to Haves).

• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Jira, or comparable delivery tools (Nice to Haves).

• Background in consulting or professional services (Nice to Haves).

• Proficiency in Spanish as a second language (Nice to Haves).
