This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Belgium.
• Articulate and share an engaging product vision that aligns with EPI’s strategic goals for Merchant Enablement and POS solutions.
• Take ownership of and oversee the strategic roadmap for POS initiatives, including features, enhancements, and the long-term evolution of the platform.
• Prioritize product features and initiatives based on user requirements, market opportunities, return on investment (ROI), and overall business impact.
• Utilize data-driven insights to inform product decisions through market research, competitor analysis, customer feedback, and performance metrics.
• Regularly update and coordinate with the Head of Product regarding the progress of the roadmap, current priorities, and delivery status.
• Work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Designers, and other teams to transform strategic objectives into actionable product development plans.
• Balance technical limitations and business priorities to ensure a cohesive alignment between engineering feasibility and product vision.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Customer Support teams to ensure effective product adoption and a positive merchant experience.
• Partner with EPI Member Banks to synchronize on strategic priorities and explore future POS development opportunities.
• Represent EPI and advocate for POS initiatives among internal and external stakeholders within the payments ecosystem.
• Contribute to the creation of scalable, seamless, and innovative payment experiences for merchants and consumers throughout Europe.
• Over 8 years of experience in Product Management, including a minimum of 3 years in fintech or payment environments.
• Demonstrated experience in developing and managing digital wallet or payment products.
• Comprehensive understanding of end-to-end payment ecosystems, transaction flows, merchant payment experiences, and operational processes such as processing, settlement, reconciliation, and billing.
• Solid knowledge of merchant onboarding, lifecycle management, and acceptance ecosystems.
• Familiarity with marketplace payment models and Payment Facilitator environments.
• Proven ability to define product vision, roadmap strategy, and prioritize backlog effectively.
• Capacity to collaborate efficiently with cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Strong analytical skills with the capability to leverage data and user insights to inform product decisions.
• Experience in balancing business priorities, customer requirements, and technical constraints.
• Outstanding communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proficient in English communication skills (CEFR C1 or C2).
• Remote-first culture with in-person meetings at least once per quarter.
• Collaborative and open-minded organization.
