Product Manager – Fintech

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• Guiding the strategic roadmap of IO+ across all commercial tiers (Start, Lite, Pro), while orchestrating the release cycles.

• Writing PRDs and detailed technical specifications, mapping directly onto Django models and the database (defining endpoints, SQL queries, managing edge cases, and validations).

• Managing and prioritizing the backlog by combining a strictly data-driven approach with the stringent regulatory constraints of the sector (MiFID II, AML, KYC).

• Coordinating the rollout of AI agents natively integrated in Django, ensuring the establishment of compliance guardrails, audit trails, and progressive release plans.

• Setting the mobile-first strategy, leading the complete responsive overhaul of the interface.

• Collaborating daily with development teams (Django/Python), design, compliance, and interfacing directly with end users (OCF consultants).

• Defining and monitoring product KPIs, analyzing key metrics such as adoption, retention, and time-to-value for each tier.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner on B2B SaaS products, preferably in fintech or similarly regulated sectors (insurtech, health, legal).

• Verifiable portfolio: you have contributed to the growth of a platform within product teams of small to medium size (typically between 3 and 20 people).

• Hands-on approach: you can read SQL, engage technically with Python/Django developers, write detailed requirements, and navigate the creation of mockups or functional prototypes (Figma, HTML, Bubble, or similar) with ease.

• AI-forward: you regularly utilize tools like Claude, Cursor, or ChatGPT as practical operational leverage to optimize and expedite your work, rather than just keywords on your resume.

• Compliance sensitivity: you understand the value of regulatory constraints and know why security and audit processes cannot be sacrificed for speed.

• Language: Native Italian or C1+, complemented by strong technical English skills.
