This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Taking ownership of the results for your designated area within Financial Operations over several quarters, rather than merely addressing a backlog.
• Identifying the key problems to address within your scope by integrating merchant feedback, support and dispute data, competitive actions, and platform limitations.
• Independently planning and executing initiatives, making real-time adjustments regarding scope, sequencing, and quality to safeguard both timelines and outcomes.
• Crafting specifications that consider the crucial edge cases in payments operations: reconciliation discrepancies, dispute lifecycles, and complexities surrounding currency and settlement.
• Collaborating closely with engineering on feasibility and technical trade-offs, while establishing the leading and lagging metrics that indicate the effectiveness of your area.
• Managing launch readiness and driving swift post-launch iterations based on data insights.
• Serving as the representative for your area to merchants and internal stakeholders, simplifying operational complexities into clear product decisions.
• A proven history of managing a product sub-area or a significant feature set from start to finish, with results that can be traced back to your decisions.
• The capability to independently define problems from chaotic inputs, instead of waiting for a fully developed brief.
• Competent, autonomous decision-making regarding scope, quality, and technical debt within your area.
• Sufficient technical knowledge to work alongside engineers on feasibility and integration implications, rather than merely providing requirements.
• Clear and structured communication that ensures alignment between engineering, design, and go-to-market teams while highlighting risks early on.
• Experience in payments, fintech, or operational and back-office products such as reconciliation, disputes, ledgers, treasury, or foreign exchange (Nice-to-haves).
• Proficiency in data analysis to define and monitor outcome metrics (Nice-to-haves).
• Competitive share options.
• Unlimited holiday, with a minimum of 25 days to be taken.
• Access to co-working spaces.
• Opportunities for workations and company retreats.
• The best equipment for your role.
• £500 contribution towards your home office setup.
• A generous learning budget.
• Private Medical Insurance.
• A wide range of additional perks and benefits (*depending on location*).
