This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as a specialist in Epic functionality, its current capabilities, and future developments.
• Develop strategies for Epic upgrades, enhancements, and feature implementation.
• Assess Epic functionality to determine its relevance and value.
• Collaborate extensively with Operations to grasp workflows, challenges, and successes.
• Convert business requirements into Epic standards and adoption plans.
• Lead exploratory sessions to identify underlying issues prior to defining solutions.
• Utilize innovative problem-solving and solution-focused thinking.
• Provide clear, prescriptive recommendations along with rationale and trade-offs.
• Oversee requirements gathering and scoping across Operations, Epic, Innovation, Product, and Data initiatives.
• Advise Epic SOMs based on functionality and industry best practices.
• Manage the creation and upkeep of Epic playbooks.
• Recognize integration needs and opportunities, translating operational demands into scalable Epic-aligned integration strategies, including third-party systems.
• Educate and collaborate across Epic Services on Epic standards and functionalities.
• Work closely with Partnership Success to ensure consistent messaging to clients.
• Engage in Epic RevCyclers and lead workgroups as required.
• A bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
• Over 5 years of Epic experience in healthcare operations or an IT setting.
• Epic certification(s) in Patient Access, Hospital Billing, Professional Billing, or HIM.
• Extensive functional expertise in Epic.
• Exceptional communication skills suitable for executive-level interactions.
