This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of the electrical portfolio encompassing Works and Stratus, covering BIM/CAD interoperability to prefab and fabrication processes.
• Facilitate model, assembly, and package interoperability between Stratus and BIM authoring platforms.
• Oversee electrical prefabrication and fabrication workflows, ensuring the transition of assemblies, packages, and shop work from the model to production and ultimately to the field.
• Compose precise PRDs and specifications that enable engineering teams to construct without the need for back-and-forth regarding CAD-specific or fabrication-specific behaviors.
• Engage in regular direct interactions with customers and conduct site visits to confirm that "the model is accurate" and that "the shop can produce it."
• Collaborate with the engineering team on integration and data-model architecture decisions where Stratus's data model interfaces with Autodesk's.
• Monitor the launch and adoption of features within this scope, partnering with PMM and CS to ensure effective use of integrations and fabrication workflows.
• Formulate a perspective on how AI tools can enhance product development efforts.
• 2 to 4 years of experience in product management, preferably with direct involvement in CAD, BIM, or AEC technology platforms.
• Practical knowledge of Revit, including families, shared parameters, worksharing, and model structure, with the ability to discuss CAD data models with engineers without needing a translator.
• Hands-on experience with electrical prefabrication and fabrication workflows, understanding how contractors transition work from model to shop to field, and what makes assemblies and packages feasible for construction.
• Familiarity with electrical contracting, MEP, or general construction workflows.
• Comfort with technical depth in areas such as integrations, data models, and the engineering discussions that accompany them.
• Excellent written communication skills. PRDs must be detailed regarding CAD- and fabrication-specific edge cases. Updates should be concise and focused on decision-making.
• Proficiency in AI tools, actively utilizing them in your daily PM tasks rather than merely having a theoretical understanding of the concept.
• Health insurance
• Retirement plans
• Paid time off
• Flexible work arrangements
• Professional development
