This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Saudi Arabia, +1 more country.
• Oversee the development of dashboards for customers and internal reporting systems.
• Manage the complete product lifecycle for reporting functionalities, encompassing customer research, data modeling, delivery, governance, and ongoing enhancements.
• Establish and implement the roadmap for customer-centric analytics, reporting portals, and internal reporting frameworks.
• Ensure alignment of reporting solutions with organizational objectives and customer requirements.
• Work with leadership to prioritize projects based on their impact, complexity, and business value.
• Provide guidance to other Product teams regarding data strategy and design.
• Gather business and technical requirements from Finance, Operations, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering teams.
• Create feature specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and data contracts.
• Convert unclear business inquiries into reporting needs and relevant KPIs.
• Collaborate with data engineers to co-create data models and data marts within the data warehouse.
• Influence architectural decisions related to ETL/ELT and dimensional modeling.
• Uphold and implement data governance standards, including definitions, taxonomy, lineage, and version control.
• Establish processes for data quality verification and anomaly detection.
• Manage the product experience and lifecycle for reporting and BI platforms.
• Define self-service analytics functionalities for internal teams.
• Develop feedback mechanisms to enhance dashboard usability and relevance.
• Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical teams.
• Present product updates, reporting insights, and metrics to executives and cross-functional teams.
• Facilitate decision-making regarding trade-offs involving data availability, accuracy, and reporting timelines.
• Over 5 years of experience in product management, data, analytics, or reporting platforms, with a strong emphasis on data-driven products.
• Demonstrated success in delivering customer-facing reporting products, dashboards, and internal analytics solutions.
• Comprehensive understanding of data privacy, governance, and compliance frameworks, including GDPR and PDPL.
• Experience working across functions with data engineers, analysts, product teams, UX, and business stakeholders.
• Practical experience with data warehouses such as ClickHouse, Vertica, or Snowflake.
• Proficient with BI tools such as Metabase, Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or Sigma.
• Strong SQL skills and knowledge of data modeling concepts, including fact and dimension tables and star schemas.
• Familiarity with ELT pipelines, dbt, and data orchestration tools is advantageous.
• Understanding of data quality, data integrity, scalability, and performance considerations.
• Ability to define business KPIs and translate business and reporting needs into precise data and product specifications.
• Experience contributing to data governance, data integrity, and compliance efforts.
• Capability to balance performance, usability, scalability, and cost.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proven track record of leading cross-functional discussions and effectively communicating reporting goals and insights.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum AI proficiency level L4 (Proficient).
• Hands-on experience with Claude and Lovable.
• Competence in writing structured prompts and refining prompts instead of manually adjusting outputs.
• Ability to validate insights against source data.
• Experience drafting PRDs, user stories, and executive updates with AI assistance while ensuring accuracy of claims and figures.
• Ability to create clickable prototypes in Lovable.
• Understanding of AI agents, including prompts, tools, memory, and guardrails.
• Ability to recognize AI risks including hallucination, bias, data privacy issues, and over-reliance.
• Strong SQL and data analysis capabilities.
• Knowledge of data modeling, dimensional modeling, data marts, and data pipelines.
• Understanding of ETL/ELT, dbt, and data orchestration.
• Knowledge of data governance, quality, lineage, and compliance.
• Familiarity with GDPR, PDPL, and data privacy principles.
• Ability to define KPIs, data requirements, data contracts, and reporting specifications.
• Understanding of scalable, high-performance, and cost-effective reporting architectures.
